Frequencies, patterns, and procedures specific to our home airport.

Left traffic, 1,500 ft MSL. Watch for helicoprer operations to the south.

03

Runway

Runway 25/07, 3,200 ft. Right traffic on 07. Heavy student traffic — give way.

04

Approach / Departure

SoCal Approach 125.50. File IFR by phone or ForeFlight before departure.

05

Fuel

Self-serve 100LL. Top Flight aircraft return tanks topped per SOP.

06

Tie-Down & Securing

Return aircraft to assigned tie-down. Secure with chains. Lock cabin. Drop keys in box.

Policies

The fine print.

Important rules every renter and student should know.

01

Cancellation

Cancel at least 24 hours in advance — no charge. Less than 24 hours: 1-hour aircraft + instructor charge.

02

No-Show

No-call no-shows are charged the full scheduled lesson. Three no-shows = renter privileges revoked.

03

Fuel & Oil

Return aircraft fueled per SOP. Engine oil added as necessary — note any low oil in squawk form.

04

Late Return

Notify dispatch ASAP if running late. Late returns affect the next pilot's schedule.

05

Card Processing

Card payments incur a 2.75% + $0.25 per-swipe processing fee. Block-time pre-pay avoids this.

06

Weather Cancellations

Top Flight may cancel for safety. No charge — we'll reschedule.

In-flight emergency or aircraft down? Call 911 first. Then notify Top Flight Dispatch as soon as safe.
